The Online Government –GEL– has been developed in all the state entities since 2008 following the Decree 1151, which defined the general guidelines and recently with Decree 2693 of 2012, which harmonizes them with the regulations for streamlining procedures, internal paperwork and services as well as control of public management.
The strategy is intended to contribute to the development of a more efficient, more transparent and participatory University that provides better services with the collaboration of the entire society through the use of ICTs.
